Glen Burnie United Methodist Church is committed to being the hands and feet of Christ through our participation in United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM). Working alongside partnering churches and volunteers from across the connection, we travel to communities recovering from hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and other natural disasters to help families rebuild their homes and their lives.

Our mission teams provide practical assistance such as repairing homes, replacing drywall, painting, installing flooring, building ramps, and completing other construction projects. Just as important, we offer encouragement, prayer, and the assurance that those affected by disaster have not been forgotten.

No construction experience is required. Whether you are a skilled tradesperson or a first-time volunteer, there is a place for everyone to serve. Every mission trip is an opportunity to grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and share Christ's love through compassionate service.
