Each Thanksgiving Eve, Glen Burnie United Methodist Church opens its doors and its heart by hosting a free community dinner for individuals and families who may be experiencing homelessness, loneliness, or financial hardship. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a warm, home-cooked Thanksgiving meal in an atmosphere of friendship, dignity, and Christian hospitality.

For many guests, this dinner is more than a meal—it is a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved. Volunteers greet every guest with a smile, share fellowship around the table, and offer the hope and compassion that Christ calls us to extend to one another.

This ministry is made possible through the generous gifts of our congregation and community partners who donate food, prepare meals, serve guests, and help create a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.

How You Can Help

• Volunteer to prepare, serve, or clean up.

• Donate food, desserts, or beverages.

• Sponsor the meal with a financial gift.

• Invite someone who may be alone this Thanksgiving.

• Pray for our guests, volunteers, and community.
