Street Care

The Street Care Ministry of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church reaches out to our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship with compassion, practical assistance, and the love of Jesus Christ. In partnership with local organizations and community volunteers, we provide care packages containing essential items such as socks, personal hygiene supplies, snacks, and other necessities to those living on the streets or facing difficult circumstances.

More than meeting physical needs, our ministry seeks to build relationships, listen with compassion, offer encouragement, pray with those who desire prayer, and share God's hope. We also distribute Bibles and invitations to worship, reminding every person they are welcome, valued, and loved.

Every encounter is an opportunity to demonstrate Christ's grace through kindness, respect, and genuine human connection.

How You Can Help

  • Donate hygiene items, socks, snacks, and seasonal supplies.

  • Help assemble Street Care kits.

  • Join a Street Care outreach team.

  • Pray for those experiencing homelessness and for those who serve.

  • Support the ministry through financial gifts.

Jesus calls us to see His face in every person we meet.

"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."Matthew 25:40

Together, we are sharing hope, restoring dignity, and reminding our neighbors that they are never forgotten and never alone.
