Each year, Glen Burnie United Methodist Church partners with the Society of St. Andrew to host our annual End Hunger Potato Drop, one of our largest community mission projects. Volunteers from our church, local schools, community organizations, and neighboring churches come together to unload, sort, bag, and distribute thousands of pounds of fresh potatoes to families experiencing food insecurity throughout Anne Arundel County and beyond.

In just a few hours, servants of all ages transform a tractor-trailer load of donated potatoes into family-sized bags that are delivered to food pantries, churches, shelters, senior communities, and outreach ministries. What begins as a truckload of potatoes becomes thousands of nutritious meals and a tangible expression of God's love.

Everyone is welcome to participate. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to serve.
