CROP Hunger Walk

Each year, Glen Burnie United Methodist Church proudly participates in the CROP Hunger Walk, joining thousands of walkers across the nation in the fight against hunger. This mission ministry brings together individuals, families, churches, and community organizations to raise funds and awareness for people facing hunger both locally and around the world.

Every step taken helps provide food, clean water, disaster relief, and sustainable development through Church World Service (CWS) while also supporting local hunger ministries that serve families in Anne Arundel County.

The CROP Hunger Walk is more than a fundraiser—it is a public witness of our faith and a reminder of Christ's call to care for our neighbors. Whether you walk, pray, volunteer, sponsor a participant, or make a donation, you become part of a movement that offers hope to those who need it most.

How You Can Help

  • Register as a walker.

  • Become a Prayer Walker.

  • Sponsor a participant or team.

  • Invite your family, friends, or church group to join you.

  • Make a financial gift to support hunger relief.

Together, we can make a difference—one step, one prayer, and one act of compassion at a time.

"If a brother or sister is without food... what good is it if we do not meet their physical needs?"James 2:15–16
