Every summer, Glen Burnie United Methodist Church joins with our community to help local children begin the new school year with confidence. Through our Backpack Ministry, we provide backpacks and essential school supplies to students whose families need a helping hand.

A backpack is more than a bag of supplies—it is a reminder that someone cares. By providing the tools students need to learn, we help children walk into their classrooms prepared, encouraged, and ready to succeed.

Whether you donate backpacks, school supplies, or financial gifts, your generosity directly impacts children in our community. Volunteers are also needed to collect, organize, and distribute supplies before the school year begins.

As followers of Christ, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive.
